To quote Phoebe Bridgers’ “you don’t have to be alone to be lonseome”.

Christmas is all about togetherness, so why is it always the most isolating of times? And then you beat yourself up because you’re surrounded by love and family and cheer! But you just can’t help it. With all the goodness, it feels innate to focus on all the bad, all that’s missing, all that once was. 

At least that’s how I feel—especially this year.
