Seven’s Purple Dreamboat: Experimental Theatre Wing’s 2nd Year Projects

SEVEN, a young dancer trapped between perfection and paralysis, unravels under the pressures of performance, control, and self-erasure. Conditioned to move beautifully but never speak, she spirals into disembodiment - anxiety, eating disorder, and existential collapse - until her body itself begins to protest. Through ritualistic soundscapes and movement, the play dives into SEVEN’s inner world, where every breakdown is both a wound and a warning. By the end, she begins to reclaim her voice and body, realizing that what she mistook for destruction was, in fact, hope trying to break through.

I wrote, directed, choreographed, designed, and starred in this piece. My first play. A challenging and extremely rewarding experience. Part of the ETW 2nd Year Project Play Festival.
